Inspired Ovens in MiNDFOOD Magazine

Don’t mind us, we’re just over here minding our own business in Mindfood Magazine this month. A lovely write up about our brand and our story, Mindfood is making sure readers know that we’ve landed in the market and we’re making a splash.

That’s the ‘what’, as in what we do, but the ‘why’ is just as important. Why create cookware in the first place? Our founder has a very good answer to that:

“Inspired by the creativity of her children and noticing a lack of colour in the market, Queenstown-based Rachel Turner started her own line of statement cast iron Dutch Ovens, Biroix. “You’ll see lots of black, grey, white, navy, red and even pastel colours when shopping for kitchenware, but I wanted to splash bright colour into my space, with unique pieces I could show off,””

It’s all about colour and creativity in the kitchen. It’s what gets us out of bed in the
morning… well, that and the kids.
